Q: On Nov. 16, “The Doctors” had a family named Jonas who makes goat’s milk soap, which is supposed to be good for your skin. They didn’t tell you how to get any of it. How might I order some goat’s milk soap?

—Barbara Turner, Newnan

A: The Jonas family raises Alpine dairy goats on its rural Indiana farm, making natural goat milk soap and other products. The company, Goat Milk Stuff, was founded in 2008. The soaps can be purchased at goatmilkstuff.com. Bars of soap range from $6-$8 plus shipping, depending on the scent. The Jonas family includes parents Jim and PJ and their eight children.

Q: The AJC had info on Black Friday store openings. Several were listed as “midnight Friday.” Is midnight the last minute of the day and 12:01 a.m. the first minute of the day? If so, the listing should say “midnight Thursday.” Or is midnight the first minute of the day, making 12:01 a.m. the second minute of the day. Please explain and resolve our family debate!

—Susan Mashburn, Smyrna

A: The AP Stylebook, which newspapers such as the AJC follow, defines midnight as the "part of the day that is ending, not the one that is beginning." As a result, the Black Friday store openings at midnight on Thanksgiving Day would be at midnight Thursday.
