Q: Where is Newt Gingrich these days and what is he doing?

A: Gingrich, a former U.S. Congressman who represented Georgia from 1979 to 1999 and was the Speaker of the House from 1995 to 1999, has written several books, including his most recent one called "Breakout: Pioneers of the Future, Prison Guards of the Past, and the Epic Battle That Will Decide America's Fate." He's also written "To Save America: Stopping Obama's Secular-Socialist Machine" and several novels about the American Revolution, the Civil War and World War II.

Gingrich also was a co-host on CNN’s “Crossfire” until it recently was canceled. He will continue to appear as a political commentator on the network. Gingrich’s wife, Callista, has written a series of children’s books featuring a character called Ellis the Elephant and set in early America. They own and run Gingrich Productions (gingrichproductions.com) and live in McLean, Va.

Q: Is the Dallas airport, Love Field, named for the same Love as Love Truck Stops?

A: Dallas Love Field is named after 1st Lt. Moss L. Love, an Army aviator who was killed when his biplane crashed in San Diego on Sept. 4, 1913. Tom and Judy Love started Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores with one gas station in Oklahoma in 1964. They opened a convenience story in 1981 and now have more than 300 locations and 10,000 employees in 39 states. They're worth $3.4 billion, according to Forbes.
