A: T.J. Frye resigned from his position as a lieutenant with the Warwick Police Department in Worth County after his canine partner was found dead in a police vehicle in September 2012. Frye reportedly returned from a three-day trip to find Sasha, a 10-year-old Dutch Shepherd, had died in the Chevrolet Tahoe. The dog ripped seat belts, left bite marks in the seats, scratched the windows and broke the rear-view mirror, according to the police report.
