A: Qatar, a Middle Eastern nation that shares a land border with Saudi Arabia and is surrounded by the Persian Gulf on three sides, is pronounced KUH'-tuhr, according to the Associated Press.
Q: I wish you could see what you could find out about Ted Turner and how he is doing. I know he is going to be 79 years old this year. Is his health okay? What is he doing?

A: Turner recently told the Sports Business Journal in a Q&A interview: "I'm 78-and-a-half. I'll be 80 in a year-and-a-half. I'm not keeping the same work schedule. And I have an illness [atrial fibrillation], too, and it's an exhausting illness. So I don't have the strength to work in the same way I used to. I've cut back some, but I'm there when they need me."
He made the comments while in New York earlier this month for the premiere of an NBC sports documentary, “Courageous,” about his 1977 America’s Cup victory.
While in Charlotte, N.C., this spring to open a new Ted’s Montana Grill, he said he’s worth “only” $2 billion—a number that previously reached $11 billion—the Charlotte Observer reported.
