Stockbridge Elementary school is set to host a reading safari and literacy night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 5. The event is designed to foster a partnership between parents, the community and school through learning. It will take place at the school at 4617 N. Henry Blvd. in Stockbridge. Parents learn new ways to make reading exciting for their children at home through reading activities, games and challenges.
