North Springs High School student Helena Weibel has been selected by the U.S. Department of State to receive a National Security Language Initiative for Youth scholarship to study Chinese.

Weibel participated in a cultural exchange program between North Springs and students at Mingde Senior High School in Taicang, China last spring.

A delegation from Taicang was recently in Sandy Springs to explore trade opportunities between the two cities.
