This week’s Atlanta hearings on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s “clean power” plan to reduce domestic greenhouse gas emissions nationwide has been moved because of ongoing electrical problems at the Sam Nunn Atlanta Federal Center on Forsyth Street downtown.

The hearings will now be held at the Omni Hotel, at 100 CNN Center across the street from Centennial Olympic Park. The schedule otherwise remains unchanged, with testimony scheduled from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. All speaking slots are full, but anyone is allowed to attend and listen to testimony.

Atlanta is one of just four cities hosting national public hearings this week on the proposed EPA rules, which would place new limits on carbon pollution from power plants in Georgia and across the nation.
