The battle between two tech titans is now being fought between their devices.

Google Glass responds to its users' commands through nods and winks. And its "new kid on the block" popularity is apparently just too much for Apple's Siri to handle, as many iPhone users discovered Monday.

“Okay, Glass.”

“Glass? I think you’ve got the wrong assistant.”

Do we detect some bitterness here? Some time in the last few weeks, Apple must have quietly updated Siri to give her a few responses when addressed as "Glass." Either that, or Siri's AI is actually getting really impressive. (Via Gizmodo)

Not to be outdone, Google provided a statement to ABC that it says is on behalf of Google Glass. "Siri, it's not you, it's me. You see, I just met Google Voice Search and fell hard for her. She doesn't just listen; she understands me."

Siri, can you spell burn?

The Verge was the first with the news of Siri's sassy new feature, also pointing out the Apple assistant has a history of saying some weird things, and might have implicated itself in a murder-cover-up at some point in the last couple years.

At press time, Maluuba of Google’s Android phones could not be reached for comment.
