Several fifth graders at Henry County’s Smith-Barnes Elementary School recently showed they’ve got some Wall Street savvy and potential. Five teams of fifth graders from the school competed against students from across the county in the Georgia Stock Market Game program. Four of the five teams finished in the top four spots. Could they be headed form 147 Tye Street in Stockbridge to jobs at 11 Wall Street one day in the future. Marisol Salvador has his eye on a job as a financial analyst. “it will give me the opportunity to make a lot of money.” Coach and teacher Stanley Clark said it is “very rewarding to know that our students are able to compete academically against older students and prevail victorious each of the two years we participated in the Georgia Stock Market Game.”
