Pope Francis is donating his Harley Davidson motorcycle to help raise money for Rome's homeless. In other news, the pope had a Harley?

According to the National Catholic Register, profits from the eventual sale of the bike will help fund a renovation of a hostel and a soup kitchen.

The pope is well known for his simple and modest existence. As a cardinal in Argentina he would regularly take a public bus when he could have opted for a private car and driver.

Instead of riding in the traditional 'Popemobile,' Pope Francis now drives a Renault with nearly 200,000 miles on it.
