An employee with the Cobb County parks and recreation department is accused of burglarizing the concession stand of a youth football league, according to police.

Lynn Alan Mysliwiec, 35, was arrested Thursday morning at his Paulding County home and charged with second degree burglary, jail records show.

Mysliwiec allegedly entered the concession stand operated by the Due West Football Association, located on Dallas Highway, with a key, according to this arrest warrant, obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“The accused, an employee of Cobb County, is not authorized to be inside of this building,” the warrant states. “Once inside he opened a cash register and removed money.”

Mysliwiec spent the night in the Cobb County jail before being released Friday morning on $5,000 bond. He has been suspended from his job without pay pending the outcome of an internal investigation, a county spokesman said Monday afternoon.
