Right-wing columnists’ heads must be spinning
It is obvious that the 2016 presidential election will be one for the ages.
What is truly amazing is that the likes of Mona Charen, Thomas Sowell and Charles Krauthammer are so virulently anti-Trump. I am sure their heads are spinning at the thought of opposing the GOP candidate!

NRA largely responsible for Orlando tragedy
Question: How does one individual murder 49 and maim 53 in a few short minutes? Answer: Assault weapons designed for military use and high capacity magazines delivering up to 100-plus deadly rounds as was used in Aurora, Colorado. Not only does the 10-year assault weapons ban in effect not renewed by Bush and Congressional henchmen need to be reinstated, but clips holding massive rounds need to be banned. Those who claim they are useful in sport shooting should admit to themselves that there’s no sport in using this kind of weaponry on a deer.
Additionally, the bill blocked six months ago by the Republican Congress, which would have banned gun purchases from individuals on the terror watch list must become law. They can’t fly, but they can buy an arsenal. What?
And if this carnage was ISIS-inspired, then we must blame the “pro-life” movement for the Planned Parenthood shooting, the Klan for the Charleston church massacre and the Palin campaign (remember the crosshairs on the map) for the massacre at the Gabby Gifford event. No, they just call those one crazed gunman. The NRA takes absolutely no responsibility for any of the annual 30,000 gun deaths in America.
