Despite differences, we have right to life
Why do humans tend to destroy what they find different? Difference in and of itself means nothing. It is neither good or bad. We tend to destroy what we don’t understand. One thing we should know: Each human regardless of his or her political belief, race, religion, sexual orientation, color of hair, how tall they are or if they have a mental or physical handicap has a right to life.
No one has a right to kill just because they don’t agree or don’t like how one lives their life. When will we learn?

Allen’s bigoted prayers an embarrassment
I am calling out Georgia Congressman Rick Allen for encouraging the shocking tragedy in Orlando on June 12. Their blood is on his hands as he was at the U.S. Capitol praying for the death of gay people at a Republican caucus meeting and even bragged about it at the Georgia Republican Party state convention a few days later. I was a delegate at that convention in Augusta on June 4 and even then responded with revulsion to his bigoted prayers.
We need lawmakers who support the equal protection of human life for all Americans, regardless of their orientation, received from their God-given maker at birth.
Whether it is our United States senator praying for the early demise of our President or a Georgia congressman praying for the death of gay people these imprecatory prayers by Republican elected officials is a huge embarrassment for our party.
