Clinton will not make fools of us all

So, the FBI didn’t want to bring charges against Hillary for crimes that put other politicians in jail. How convenient. And we’re supposed to think Bill Clinton’s visit to Attorney General Loretta Lynch had nothing to do with the FBI’s decision. Abe Lincoln said it best: “You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.” Some will vote for this woman who promises to eliminate inequities by taking from those that have and giving to those who have not. But the rest of us are not fools.

No place for moderates in GOP

There is a Benghazi scandal, but it has nothing to do with Hilary Clinton or the State Department. The real Benghazi scandal is the way Republicans have cynically exploited the deaths of four Americans for vicious, partisan, political purposes. When Ronald Reagan was President, over 200 U.S. Marines were killed in a bomb attack in Lebanon. Back then, the Democrats did not engage in eight investigations that lasted years and cost millions of dollars in an attempt to damage Reagan. Simply put, today’s Republican Party has become a vicious gang of extremist, right-wing thugs. The Republican Party was corrupted by the rise of Newt Gingrich, who demonized the Democrats and brought gridlock to Washington. The Republicans have made America almost ungovernable with their refusal to compromise. There is no place for moderates in today’s GOP. Donald Trump is just the latest manifestation of the GOP’s uncompromising viciousness.
