A Finnish motorcycle racer is making headlines for the way he ended a race on Saturday.
FOX Sports reports Niklas Ajo was leading the field at the TT Circuit Assen on Saturday, when he suddenly lost control of his bike entering the final turn.
Ajo was thrown from his seat but managed to maintain control of the motorcycle's handle bars. He also kept the bike upright and eventually made it back onto the racing surface.
In an effort to stabilize the bike, Ajo finished the race on his knees, skidding across the finish line to the astonishment of the crowd.
He finished the race in 17th place, but after watching the video, you will agree, it could have been a lot worse.
