Because of his unconventional approach to communicating with his constituents, Trump’s Twitter feed has become a must-follow for supporters and opponents alike, with the 45th president of the United States amassing a following of nearing 33 million as of mid-June.
Trump posts daily to his Twitter account, taking on national and international politics while also commenting on the news of the day. The prolific tweeter managed to reach his 100th tweet as president from his @realDonaldTrump account by his 17th day in office.
Though he now shies away from getting into pop culture discussions — something he frequently did before he launched his presidential campaign in 2015 — Trump still occasionally retweets his followers who post messages of support.
