This looks like it is straight up out of a horror movie.
The Newcastle Herald reports that a man driving his car down Lake Road in Newscastle, Australia on Sunday spotted a hooded figure near a truck standing on the side of the road. The stranger continues to look down at the road until the driver passes by. Then, all of a sudden, the man screams and lunges toward the car. The driver's dash cam video then shows him speeding away. Viewer can hear the driver's tires screech as he peels out. The man's wife and a friend were in the car behind him and say that the stranger did the same thing to them.
"We still don't know what he was trying to do, whether he was trying to rob us, was he trying to take our car or was he trying to hurt us," the wife told the Newcastle Herald.
A man found sleeping in a vehicle nearby was arrested for drug possession after police found crystal meth during their search but no charges were filed related to the incident captured on video.
