Daredevil Nik Wallenda will perform his latest stunt on top of the 400-foot Orlando Eye on International Drive Wednesday morning.
At 8 a.m. Wednesday, Wallenda will try to set a world record by walking the outer rim of the Eye as it spins.
Wallenda said he first noticed the Orlando Eye while he was vacationing with his family.
Wallenda, who is a seventh-generation high-wire performer, said he will not use a balancing pole or a safety harness.
Wallenda crossed Niagara Falls in 2012 the same way.
"You have you understand this is my passion, entertaining people, inspiring people and encouraging people to do greater things," said Wallenda.
For Wednesday's stunt, Wallenda will get inside one of the Eye's capsules, ride it to the top, climb out onto the roof, and then walk along the rim of the eye.
He'll do all of this as the eye spins at a rate of 1 mph.
Wallenda said he's been training at faster speeds, preparing for the stunt.
"I've been training on a wire, 5/8 of an inch without a balancing pole," he said.
Wallenda said he will not walk if there is lightning or a downpour, but he will walk if there's only some drizzle.
The Orlando Eye is set to open to the public on Monday, May 4.
WFTV.com will be livestreaming the walk, starting at 8 a.m.
