It was a red eye flight that had one young girl upset, but her dad had a perfect solution that made several passengers teary-eyed.

Stephanie Kahan tweeted that she was sitting on her flight from Boston to San Francisco when a man passed out candy to everyone so his 3-year-old daughter could trick or treat.

“OMG, my heart is exploding right now,” she said.

A note with the candy explained that the girl, Molly, was "bummed" she couldn’t go around collecting candy.

“So I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her. If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween,” the note said.

The move went viral on social media with comments from across the country, including WFXT Sports Director Tom Leyden who said “Dad of the Year. We're all playing for second place.”
