Billboards have popped up in several states across the country by an athiest group aimed at starting conversations between parents and children.

The billboard features a girl writing a letter to Santa that reads: "Dear Santa, All I want for Christmas is to skip church! I'm too old for fairy tales."

The American Atheists website indicates "The billboards are aimed at in-the-closet atheists who are pressured to observe religious traditions during the holidays, and who might also want to attend the annual American Atheists National Convention in Memphis in April."

The campaign is scheduled to run from Dec. 1 through Dec. 24.  The billboards are located in St. Louis, Milwaukee, Nashville, Fort Smith (Arkansas) and Memphis.
