A missing 12-year-old Johns Creek girl has been found safe, and her mother has been arrested in Pittsburgh, police said Friday night.

Laurn Williams, 32, was taken into custody around 7:30 p.m. by Pittsburgh police on charges of kidnapping and interstate interference with custody, Johns Creek police said.

Her daughter Taleiyah Brown was taken into protective custody and arrangements are being made to reunite her with her father, who has full custody, according to authorities.

Taleiyah had last been seen Wednesday entering a red, four-door vehicle after she got off her school bus on Medlock Crossing Parkway, police previously said. Her father believed her mother picked her up.
