Milton Police say they've again gotten a number of calls this week about a potential local raffle scam - and they're warnings residents not to fall victim.

Police said it began when a resident told them earlier this month that she had purchased a raffle ticket for a charity called "Kids Come 1st" from a man who came to her house. She subsequently realized it was likely fraudulent, and described the suspect as a tall white male with a clean shaven head wearing a polo shirt and khakis. He was driving a vehicle that was described as a black sedan.

Police said if you believe a charitable solicitation might be a scam, refuse to give out any personal information, money or checks. They also ask that an such activity be promptly reported.
