In January of this year, the Georgia Department of Transportation awarded contracts to nine projects, including a winning bid of more than $62 million to widen I-16 in Macon. Three other projects, including paving more than 74 miles of roads in southeast Georgia, were either put on hold or rejected.

This map shows the status of the twelve projects included in the GDOT's January 2017 report on statewide contract awards. Click on each dot to learn more about the project, its cost and its timetable. Red dots are approved projects; black dots are deferred or rejected projects.
