A man was killed Friday morning as he tried to cross a busy DeKalb County road.

The victim, who was not identified, was struck by two vehicles while walking on Flat Shoals Parkway near Columbia Drive, according to DeKalb police. Investigators were called to the scene about 6:25 a.m.

It was not clear if the two drivers who hit the man remained at the scene. Charges have not been determined as an investigation is ongoing, a police spokeswoman said Friday.
