A Douglas County man died Monday after being pinned between two tractor-trailers, according to a northwest Georgia report.

Jose Castro, 33, of Douglasville, was killed at the Grady Road Landfill just after 11:30 a.m., The Cedartown Standard reported online.

Polk County police told the newspaper Castro was the driver of one of the tractor-trailers, but was not inside the vehicle at the time. Investigators believe Castro was pinned between the big rigs and died at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation.
