The Union City Council will consider approving a request to fix-up an old building and some sidewalks around town during the regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday Union City Hall, 5047 Union Street.

The contract would be with Hogan Construction Group LLC. to renovate the old Georgia Military College Building at 320 West Broad St. The renovation, if approved, will cost the city $5,000,000.

The council will also discuss approving a contract with the Georgia Department of Transportation to complete Phase two of the Union City Pedestrian system. The phase two portion involves designing new sidewalks in the city.
