1. Cops: Decatur man kills 2 intruders; mom suffers heart attackAfter Timoteo Hernandez shot and killed two men allegedly trying to break into their home, his mother suffered a heart attack. According to a police report, Hernandez said he flagged officers after shooting the two men outside his Decatur home. [Read more]

2. Arrest made in home invasion of death of Atlanta who jumped from balcony. City police announced the arrest of a 20-year-old suspect in an apartment break-in last month that left 51-year-old Jose Greer dead after he jumped 30 feet from a balcony to escape intruders. [Read more]

Convicted methamphetamine dealer and $3 million lottery winner Ronnie Music Jr. from Waycross can't afford a lawyer as he faces up to 20 years in federal prison and $20 million in fines.
