Registration for the eight-day 2017 AJC Peachtree Road Race lottery is officially open for business at AJC.com/peachtree.

Runners, joggers and walkers will have until 11:59 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, to register for the annual Fourth of July 10K race through Buckhead and midtown.

Early registration with guaranteed entry for club members ended Tuesday, March 14.

Here’s how to participate in the 2017 AJC Peachtree Road Race:

1. Enter the lottery for free at  AJC.com/peachtree.

2. Wait for an email informing you if you were one of the randomly selected lottery entrants chosen to participate.

3. If selected, entry into the 10K event is $35 for club members and $38 for the public, plus additional applicable online processing fees.

Searchable results of the selection process will also be posted on peachtreeroadrace.org and AJC.com/peachtree on March 25.

To celebrate, the Atlanta Track Club is also hosting the first-ever lottery kickoff party from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, at the Midtown location of Big Peach Running Co., 800 Peachtree St., Atlanta.
