Mike Smith wants something done about a water leak that started in late August. .

“There was a water leak in front of 360 7th Street NE, on Aug. 29. The city came and repaired the leak, but left a gravel pit. Stones fly, and dust fills the air whenever a car drives by the area. There’s also a continuous water leak going down the street. I would greatly appreciate attention on this matter,” he wrote.

We sent Smith’s concern to the city and will keep you updated.

Earlier this month, we told you about Anne Clark’s issue with a situation on one of the interstate highways.

“There is much confusion for motorists exiting I-75 and turning right onto Windy Hill. Many motorists get into the far right lane (that goes to Interstate North Parkway) and then veer over at the last second to the second right lane (which goes to Windy Hill). In their confusion, very few motorists check to see if they can safely make the lane change, causing many near misses. Although there are signs hanging above, it would be useful to have directions painted on the lanes leading up to the turns,” she wrote.

Last week, we heard from the DOT who said the Traffic Operations Department is going to review the lane markings and signage at this location. When we get more information from the department, we will let you know.
