Tom Cefalo has an issue with a busy road.

“I relocated to Atlanta in 2013 and Cheshire Bridge Road has always been a very rough drive from Lenox Road to Piedmont due to the huge number of potholes and pipe-laying and construction digging that is never properly filled in. Unfortunately, it is a road I have to travel quite a bit,” he wrote. Cefalo said he had hoped that after the apartment building construction was done, it would be properly paved, but that has not happened.

“It is a major connecting road from Midtown to Buckhead and GA 400 and I am surprised that it has not been paved. I am rather tired of having to constantly swerve from lane to lane to avoid the holes and too-low sunken rain grates, like many others I see on that road. Can the city pave this road finally now that the two apartment buildings are completed?” he asked.

We sent the item to the city and will keep you updated.

Charles Vaughn has an issue with one of the region’s busiest roads. Vaughn says the road has a huge pothole.

“It’s near the north end of the Downtown Connector after I-75 branches off and curves under I-85 as you proceed north. It’s in the second lane from the right. It’s particularly dangerous to someone on a motorcycle. There’s no telling how many low profile tires have already been damaged by it,” he wrote.

We sent the item to the DOT and learned it had just been fixed.

Amy Barnes wants something done about a sidewalk and a bridge.

“I have slipped and fallen when this sludge-covered sidewalk froze over; it is sickening to see. I did a brief investigation and CSX is responsible - if any business had this ongoing outside, there would be lawsuits. Folks are walking their dogs through this nastiness. Located near the Pencil Factory Flats lofts, this bridge is just nasty,” Barnes said.

We sent the issue to CSX and will let you know when we get an update.
