New item-Atlanta
Margaret Thompson is tired of the condition of her street. Thompson has lived at 415 Euclid Terrace NE in Atlanta with her husband for 28 years.
“About two months ago, 424 Euclid Terrace had a water problem and the city came out and ‘fixed’ it. They left a 5-foot-by-6-foot hole in the street. It has never been repaired,” Thompson wrote.
She said a couple of weeks ago, another water issue was ‘fixed’ at 429 Euclid Terrace, and they also left a hole in the street.
“I called and requested a repair. No results,” she added.
Thompson just wants her street put back they way it was before all the repairs took place.

New item-Piedmont Road
A reader is tired of navigating pothole-laden Piedmont Road in the heart of the city.
“I’ve been trying to locate the Atlanta city government repaving plan, in this case for Piedmont Road. The city will accept a caller’s request for service, but I am calling about Piedmont all the way from 10th Street to the intersection with Cheshire Bridge Road. Piedmont has been a pothole and surface nightmare for over three years. In my call to the city to find the dates of planned resurfacing, I found there is no plan,” the reader wrote.
The reader hopes Piedmont can soon be resurfaced and have potholes filled.

New item-17th Street
Barry Munz is concerned about 17th Street.
“I do not live in the city of Atlanta, but I use 17th street off Interstates 75/85 southbound. The intersection at 17th and Spring Street needs some work. It has been in the current condition for many years. It you do not slow down going over the intersection, your car can bottom out,” Munz said.
