Stockbridge City Councilwoman Neat Robinson is joining the board of directors of Arts Clayton, it has been announced.

"I am truly honored for this appointment, " Robinson said a release. "Arts programming is essential to our society for so many reasons, including creating a strong and lasting legacy for all community members.

“I look forward to this endeavor,” she said. “I am thankful to the board of directors for the appointment."

Arts Clayton supports arts education for students in schools at all levels, provides venues for exhibit opportunities for Georgia arts and promotes the arts in community development.

Board members focus on strengthening public-private partnerships that engage families and children through arts programming as well as growing the organization’s leadership role in the community, region and state.
