The Education Committee of the South DeKalb Improvement Association will present a program at the organization’s third public meeting of the year at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at the Berean Community Center located at 2440 Young Road, Stone Mountain.

South DeKalb Improvement Association hosts public meeting

The South DeKalb Improvement Association has scheduled its third public meeting of the year at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at the Berean Community Center located at 2440 Young Road, Stone Mountain, according to a press release.

The purpose of the meeting is to hear concerns from the community, according to organizers.

The Education Committee will present a program. The speaker will be Ginneh P. Baugh, vice president of Strategy and Knowledge Development Community Engagement with United Way of Greater Atlanta. The topic will be the Child Well-Being Index for South DeKalb and Atlanta.

The meeting is open to the public.
