The South DeKalb Improvement Association has scheduled its third public meeting of the year at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 at the Berean Community Center located at 2440 Young Road, Stone Mountain, according to a press release.

The purpose of the meeting is to hear concerns from the community, according to organizers.

The Education Committee will present a program. The speaker will be Ginneh P. Baugh, vice president of Strategy and Knowledge Development Community Engagement with United Way of Greater Atlanta. The topic will be the Child Well-Being Index for South DeKalb and Atlanta.

The meeting is open to the public.
