Snellville’s annual street paving project is slated to begin early next month. Locally-owned ER Snell Contracting Inc. was the lowest bidder for the project, which will begin with preliminary sampling and coring on Tanglewood Drive in February, weather permitting.
The paving process will be at a slower pace due to colder temperatures and potential inclement weather. As a result, Snellville Public Works officials ask residents to be patient as they work to improve each street.
Once Tanglewood Drive is completed, the schedule will move forward to include Abilene Court, Abilene Lane, Abington Drive, Epping Forest Court, Ivy Way, Ramblewood Way, Summit Crest Court, Summit Crest Lane, Ferndale Lane, Hemlock Trail, Summite View Court and Summit View Way.
The entire project should be completed by June 1.
