A series of meetings have been scheduled by Snellville’s Urban Redevelopment Agency to gauge residents’ vision of the city’s Towne Center. City officials are urging residents to attend and voice their opinions.

Dubbed the Snellville Visioning Sessions, the meetings will query residents on, among other things, the 2011 Towne Center Plan, the recently announced Wisteria Pop-up Marketplace and community unity concept “Generation Merge”.

The first meeting will be 6 to 8 p.m., Feb. 19 at South Gwinnett High School, 2288 E. Main Street. Additional meetings scheduled for March 12 at Brookwood High School and March 19 at Briscoe Park. Discussion topics will include the city’s housing options, retail development, transportation and business.
