For some, Valentine’s Day sucks.

It can be a 24-hour reminder for single people that they’re single. (OK, or maybe couples celebrate love or whatever, too.)

Even if you're cool with being single, Valentine's Day seems to validate the ongoing familial nagging about when you'll find someone.

But this year there's a response for that annoying aunt: You're going to Piastra.

The Marietta Square restaurant announced on its Facebook page that it'll host its first singles wine mixer on Valentine's Day. Or what singles call: the annual celebration of what seems like all your friends posting gross, lovey-dovey pictures on social media.

Enter Piastra’s single sanctum at 45 W. Park Square, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for $25 and be treated to a raw bar, appetizers, wine and music.

Admission is free for women until 8 p.m.

Who knows? Maybe next year you’ll be one of those people posting pictures with mushy hashtags.
