Sandy Springs has issued a request for proposals for the operations, management and maintenance of the Hammond Gymnastics Center.

The RFP seeks to enhance the gymnastics programming at Hammond Park, according to a city announcement. The successful respondent will be responsible for scheduling and management of the facilities and of gymnastics instruction; tournament play; other health, fitness and wellness programming; and private and public uses under the Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Department.

A pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10 a.m., March 15, at the gymnastics center, 705 Hammond Drive. Proposals are due to the city by 2 p.m., April 19. All submissions must be made through the city's Bonfire portal: https://bit.ly/2IJlDUP

"We envision a relationship similar to our partnership for oversight of the Sandy Springs Tennis Center, which has been very successful in bringing quality programming to Sandy Springs and the surrounding communities," said Recreation and Parks Director Michael Perry.
