Having discovered two Spalding Courts in town, the Sandy Springs City Council has moved to rename one of them to avoid confusion and potential conflicts with emergency responders.

Nesbit Reserve Court – named for the subdivision it serves in the northeast part of the city – will be the new name of the former Spalding Court that extended off of Spalding Drive. So far, four of six homes in the subdivision have been sold and closed on, according to the city.

The Spalding Court in the western part of the city will keep its present name.
