Roswell residents and business owners will have a chance to engage with public officials online through a new Open Town Hall platform.

Open Town Hall is “a secure and civil public space, where information can be shared and collected easily and effectively,” said Julie Brechbill, community relations manager for the North Fulton city. Residents can participate in city decisions “from the privacy and convenience of their home, or anywhere.”

The Roswell community is encouraged to sign up and respond to the first survey at www.roswellgov.com/OpenTownHall. The topic is the effectiveness of the city's public communications. Deadline for participation is 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23. New enrollees will be entered into two drawings for $25 Visa gift cards.

Roswell Open Town Hall is run by OpenGov, a non-partisan company dedicated to more effective and accountable government. Personal information is kept confidential; to see the privacy agreement: www.opentownhall.com/privacy
