The Powder Springs City Council approved salaries for three jobs Monday to take effect Nov. 22 after City Manager Brad Hulsey’s last day on Nov. 21.

Hulsey, a former mayor of the city, is resigning for a number of reasons, including a book project on his family history.

On an interim basis, his place will be taken by the city’s Community Development Director Pam Conner at an annual salary of $95,000.

The interim community development director will be Tina Garver, the city’s zoning administrator, at an annual salary of $65,000.

Also, a community development intern will be hired at an annual salary of no more than $25,000.
