Powder Springs approves $53K for roundabout completion

The Powder Springs City Council agreed 5-0 Monday to pay $53,627 more to complete the roundabout at Lewis Road and Atlanta Street.

In addition to the original amount of $988,891 approved this summer as the low bidder, Knight and Associates will receive this extra payment for relocation and installation of street lights at the site.

Funding is provided by the 2011 special purpose local option sales tax.
