The Powder Springs City Council voted 5-0 Monday to pay $104,250 to Hardimon Contracting Co. of Mableton to remove barriers at city facilities that restrict the disabled.
These buildings include City Hall at 4484 Marietta St., the Community Development building at 4488 Pineview Drive, including the Council Chambers, and the Senior Citizens facility at 4181 Atlanta St.
Funding sources will be Community Development Block Grant funds, federal money through Cobb County, and the special purpose local option sales tax.
All work must be completed by March 31, according to the bid documents.
