At the Peachtree Corners City Council meeting Tuesday, officials identified key features they would like to see in the city’s new Veterans Memorial. A committee has been formed and is working toward developing a design concept.

A location has yet to be determined, but plans call for the Veterans Memorial to be dedicated during when city’s Town Center is complete, approximately fall of 2017.

The city would like to document veterans’ stories and honor them at the dedication service. Veterans, friends or family members of veterans are invited to send veteran information to Judy Putnam at jputnam@peachtreecornersga.gov. Include the veteran’s name, branch of service and years served along with a daytime phone number.
