Old Milton Parkway improvements announced

The Georgia DOT has announced plans for a $1.2 million upgrade of Ga. 120 (Old Milton Parkway) at North Point Parkway. Work should begin in late January and the scheduled completion date is April 30, 2013.

The project was awarded to C.W. Matthews Contracting and includes several safety and operational enhancements. The radii of the right turns will be widened to make turning easier to negotiate. New signals will be installed, and left turn lanes will be added on all four approaches.
