An alligator was spotted — and photographed — in Walton County this weekend, the sheriff’s office said.

“If you are missing your alligator, you can call us,” sheriff’s officials said on Facebook. “I suppose we might help you search for it — but not sure.” #scarylookingguy

The photos were taken by a citizen while traveling on Jersey Walnut Grove Road, according to the post.
