Residents can view Cobb County’s new flood maps at an open house on Thursday in Marietta.
The flood insurance maps and study are a partial revision to the current maps for the county and all six of its cities. Information will be provided about Cobb’s flood risk, flood insurance floodplain development regulations and floodplain mapping.
The session runs from 5 p.m. to 6: 30 p.m. at the Cobb Water System Training Lab, 662 South Cobb Drive in Marietta.
