A lieutenant for MARTA police has been placed on administrative duty after being arrested for drunk driving, a MARTA spokesman said.

According to DeKalb County jail records, Cleshea Britt was arrested July 18 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, open container and a lane violation. She was released the same day on a $2,500 bond, records show.

She has been with MARTA since 1999, spokesman Lyle Harris told the AJC. He said he had no other information about the incident.
