MARTA bus driver stabbed on route
A MARTA bus driver was stabbed Friday morning while driving route 125, officials with the transit agency confirmed.
MARTA police arrested Babasha Frute, 27, and transported him to DeKalb County Jail, where charges are pending, according to a spokesman.
The stabbing occurred around 10 a.m. at North Indian Creek Drive and Market Street in Clarkston.
The driver, whose name was not released, was transported to Atlanta Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
