Marietta officials are still seeking locations, with existing summer programs, where they can serve free lunches to children in need.

The Summer Food Service Program, funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, helps lower income children receive nutritious meals during the summer when they do not have access to school meals.

Marietta’s participation in this program will help children from June 1 through July 31.

Parents with questions or those seeking to add their sites to the list may call Daphne Bradwell at 770-794-5434 or email dbradwell@mariettaga.gov.
