Milton residents again are asked to participate in a National Citizen Survey to gauge resident satisfaction and assist the city in its long-term community planning.

This year’s online survey by the National Research Center asks respondents to rate Milton as a place to live, raise children and work; their overall feeling of safety, ease of getting around and sense of community; and how likely they’d still be living in Milton five years hence.

It also seeks detailed responses on transportation, housing, health care, education, employment opportunities, local governance and opportunities for citizen participation.

"If you received a survey card in the mail as part of the statistically valid sample of Milton residents, it is important that you complete that survey link rather than the open community survey link" — http://bit.ly/2019miltonsurvey, according to a city announcement.

A deadline for responses has not yet been set, a Milton spokeswoman said. “We’re more interested in ensuring we have satisfactory participation from our community,” she said.
